About the role
We are looking for an Aveva PI Lead Engineer to join our team of PI and Data Engineers in Kalundborg, Denmark. As a team, we are working on a variety of projects within Manufacturing Intelligence for our customers, and you will be part of building one the world’s largest API factories.
Our team is considered a full-service provider of intelligence solutions for pharma manufacturing, we work with all aspects of data engineering and data science, like implementing interfaces and databases, data management systems, GxP testing and validation, deploying cloud infrastructures, developing applications, and statistical modelling and advanced analytics.
Our specialty is data connectivity solutions for pharma manufacturing, that enable data-driven decision-making, automation of processes, and faster access to critical production data.
Why do we need you? Our goal is to grow our Danish team to provide our customers with skilled resources for their projects and strategic challenges. Your role will be key in developing solutions for customers, ensuring proper testing and documentation of solutions, and continuously give input to our department’s skillset and delivery models.

How you might spend your days
As an Aveva PI Lead Engineer, you’ll be:
- Leading a small team of less experienced PI Engineers
- Coordinating with project management and customers
- Estimating and planning the projects in cooperation with Project Management
- Responsible for the overall technical quality of the delivered solution
- Planning the qualification activities in cooperation with CSV engineers

The miles you’ve walked

- Experience in leading the technical implementation of a project
- Experience in leading and growing a team through indirect leadership
- Experience in Commissioning, Qualification and Validation of Aveva PI systems/interfaces in pharma
- Experience with Aveva PI System, ideally supported by relevant accreditations/certifications
- Knowledge of ISA 95/88 GAMP5, SRV and GMP test documentation
- You have a degree in engineering or other relevant work experience
